Read and Listen to the Holy Quran Online
The Quran (القرآن الكريم) is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from Allah (God) to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him). Revealed over a period of approximately 23 years beginning in 610 CE, the Quran provides comprehensive guidance for all aspects of life, including spiritual, moral, social, and legal matters.
The Quran consists of 114 chapters known as Surahs, which contain a total of 6,236 verses called Ayahs. Each Surah has a unique name, often derived from a distinctive word or theme within the chapter. The Surahs vary greatly in length, from the shortest, Al-Kawthar with just 3 verses, to the longest, Al-Baqarah with 286 verses.
